How media has diverted from its route?

In India, media is supposed to be an independent identity. Media persons only disclose the truth and we should trust on them for their honesty, most of us think so, but it’s time for reality check. Media has become a game for people with power and money. You can not imagine how far it has damaged the system of our country. Media’s independency makes it a thing to be put on sale. Thousands of shocking stories are recorded and then destroyed just because media persons sell their stories. You can never imagine how much exploitation is there in Media industry.

Girls who try to get jobs in media, are exploited to very much extent. There are some female friends of mine who were searching for jobs in media, but to a big shame, they were offered to compromise physically. This is just an example, these incidents take place on a daily basis.

Even the top names are not truthful and honest. They know how to use people's sentiments to drive TRPs of a particular programme. This is a big money market. Big media companies know this very well that they can make or break anyone's image. And they also know how to drive benefit pout of it. Deals are fixed to make images or break images.

News that are really essential, never come to the limelight, but unnecessary news are flashed like a hot item. It's not that only media industry is at fault, but we all are responsible for this. They sell news and we buy news. We are not interested in knowing story of a street vendor who is suffering with penury, instead we want to see what Shahrukh khan is doing, how he dresses up, how he walks, talks, bla bla...

Till the time we don't realize what's going on we can't move on the right path. We should be informed of all these things. We should not allow media to use us like this. We should pledge to bring the important news to the limelight. We should not allow media to make a puppet of all of us. Please let us change al this and make India a truly developed and corruption free country.
